Plantar fasciitis
After a recent trip to my podiatrist, she suggested that I update my shoes as it has been 3+ years since I've purchased new shoes.
She suggested new joggers and new Archie's. I grumbled about the fact that as comfortable as Archie's are, I wanted something a little more appropriate for going out to dinner or dressing up in general. After resigning myself to thongs, I stumbled onto the Secra website. I decided to take a chance and purchase just one pair, after all... if they were uncomfortable, I could just send them back. Anyone with plantar fasciitis will tell you how painful it is to walk, let alone wear the wrong shoes. It doesn't just ruin your day, it can ruin your week. My feet feel like a nasty bruise that never let's up but boy does it let you know when you've made the wrong shoe choice! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Helle shoe, they look exactly as advertised and they provide the much needed arch support. I haven't had any issues "breaking in" my shoes and find them perfectly sized both in length and width. I will be purchasing more shoes. I'd love it if Secra would make enclosed flats for work to. If you're at all hesitant, give them a go. I am so thankful that I took a chance of the Halle shoe.

Hey Toyah, thanks very much for taking the time to write this kind and detailed review. We've spent a lot of time on refining these sandals, so we are really glad to hear that you love them! We are currently working on more styles, and have some really exciting things coming soon (including closed in flats). Please stay tuned through our mailing list. Your flats will not be too far away! Take care x
